Simone Gadlin
Simone Gadlin is a Southern California native, and has studied with the Inland Pacific Ballet and Village Dance Arts since the age of 5. She spent summers dancing at Dallas Black Dance Theater summer intensive and is a recipient of the International Association of Blacks in Dance scholarship. She was a member of Philadanco’s second company, known as D/2 and performed many lead roles in their repertoire. In November of 2022, Simone founded her company, Simone Knowelle Dance Project (affectionately known as SKDP), with the purpose of creating a safe space for dancers to grow, bask and explore their craft. SKDP’s work has been presented in the Contemporary Dance Choreography Festival of Orlando, The Detroit Dance City Festival, and Palm Desert Choreography Festival.
